Corrective exercise

Corrective exercise a program designed to identify areas where your movement is not optimal and uses exercise intervention to strengthen and increase mobility and flexibility. When you work with me on corrective exercise you will be given homework to do on a daily basis. We will meet weekly. The cost per session is $75.00. The intake is a two hour session, ($150.00) which includes the assessent and your first set of exercise to help you on your way to better movement and less pain. Typically these sessions last from eight to twelve weeks. Then you graduate to Training for Function! TRAINING FOR FUNCTION AND ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING This training is terrific for helping you continue to be able to do the things you love to do. This includes things like gardening, going hiking and hanging our with your grandkids and keeping up with them! It is very functional and will be tailored to strengthen and help you with flexibility and mobility. Balance training is critical to us as we age and training for balance will make a difference in your life. This training is $50.00 per hour.

I met Jonelle in the Phoenix airport in 2012, as I was heading back home.  As we started to chat I found out she was a personal trainer and she lived 10 minutes from my home.  I knew it was time to tackle my exercise program.  Jonelle works on balance and teaches me how to listen to my body.  She listens and addresses my concerns and shows me how to stretch and strengthen my core. After 4 years I have found that working with her twice a week one on one works best for me.  I am able to move more fluidly and look forward to my 80's knowing how to take care of my body,









Common questions

What should I wear?  

Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in.  I like to be able to see how your body is moving so not too loose.

When do I pay?  

Clients pay at the beginning of the month. A personal check or cash is fine. I don't take credit cards.

What if I am sick?

If you give 24 hour notice on personal training sessions we can reschedule your appointment.  If you are enrolled in a workshop and miss a session, there is no refund.
